Late Sunday home at last

CTN-X was a great success for the animation community and Woodbury. I had a great time connecting with a lot of the members of my profession, meeting students from highschools and other colleges and looking at all the great art. Sitting in the Woodbury booth was fun. Many our our animation students were there enjoying the expo and helping me sit the booth (and giving me a break).

Thanks to the CTN folks, to Ken Roskos for setup and tear down and to all the students who came by to help and have contributed to this blog.

Hey Guys,

Well I really hope that those of you who joined us today had a lot of fun and were able to meet some of the talented artist that were here today. This experience has been so incredible, how many time do you get to have artist like Steven Silver, Mark McDonnell, David Colman, Lou Romano, Jose Lopez, and other amazing artist in the same building. I honestly hope that this event returns next year because it is something that is worth taking a look at.

Javier's Impressions

I'm here at the CTN expo. This is the first time I have ever been to anything like this and I have to say... Wow! This is a fantastic place to meet with so many people in the industry and tons of fans too! I didn't expect to see so many people that I would recognize here. I already met Humberto Ramos, Sean Galloway, Scott Campbell, and Craig McCracken. I feel pretty good about meeting these people and I quite honestly think this is one of the greatest experiences ever. I feel very honored to even be able to come to a place like this. I think getting to meet all these people in the same place is extremely fortunate and people should take advantage of this opportunity. I can't wait to come by here next year and get to soak all this in again!

I just got word that we here at Woodbury are working to get Sean Galloway and Stephen Silver to come to our school and give a few lectures! Woot! This will be a great chance to see/ hear two of the industries greats come in and talk to us students! Keep an eye out 'cuz we'll keep you posted!

Last Day for CTN Expo

Hi Guys this is Kryzzalia and Brittany reporting LIVE from the CTN ANIMATION EXPO. Were not going to lie were a bit excited to be here, but we don't want to be like crazy groupies so were keeping it cool at the Woodbury Booth. Guess what we just had our second person come up to us to ask about Woodbury were reeling them in (get it REEL!... lol) but on the serious note this event is wonderful so far. Right now its a bit slow but it will get packed soon. There are so many talented artist here that we won't even know where to start. If you guys get a chance stop by it is worth it.

Well were going to sign off for a bit, but we'll be back soon.
